Key Issues We're Addressing:

  1. Future-Proof Infrastructure: Ensuring our roads, bridges, and public services are built to last, preparing West Hants Regional Municipalities for the next 50 years.

  2. Quality Affordable Development: As our province develops, our fellow Nova Scotians will come to our region. If we want to be ready, we need to develop a development plan that merges affordability for our municipality with affordability for people looking to buy and rent within our region.

  3. Strategic Growth & Connectivity: Developing our service centers (Hantsport, Windsor, and Brooklyn), exploring transportation options to larger urban areas, supporting local businesses, and building a region that supports residents at every stage of life.
